Hi Richard,
The auto updates installed on my computer recently and now when I try and play a DVD I get this error

"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card."

There is a link that takes me to

It says "See Windows Update. Click Custom, and then in the section Select by Type, install any video card driver updates found under Hardware, Optional." but I can't find this option.

I'm running Win Vista SP2

Any ideas?

You've probably tried all of the "standard" things I would recommend (updates, etc.) I've become VERY jaded with WMP over the years. Microsoft has really done a poor job with keeping it updated and ensuring backward compatibility. Personally, I use VLC Player to watch videos. It works great, and it comes with a huge CODEC package that plays just about any video file format. Give it a try. It's free and open source.
