Hello Richard. Your videos are so far ahead of the pack that I thought I needed to tell you so. The learning curve for Access is ridiculously steep, ridiculously confusing, and ridiculously frustrating. If it wasn't for your help videos, I would have thrown my first project into the too-hard basket on day one of opening Access for the first time. The format is brilliant. The logical flow is brilliant. The step-by-step approach which starts with showing the result of the basic code line, and then shows the result with each fine-tune step of the code, is brilliant. The dialog is clear and direct. The reference to other training videos that should be viewed prior is brilliant. Showing and explaining the different methods of achieving the same result, and explaining which method is best, and why, is brilliant. I needed to replace an old DOS-based database system my company had been using for years. So stupid me suggested that I could have a crack at Access. Immediately I found that there was no User Manual, and that the third-party books were many inches thick, and in very small text, and written in a way that even computer engineers would have trouble understanding. The point is, your method of training reduces the Access learning curve back to being that simple one inch thick book with very large text and written for computer illiterate people?.
