Is it possible to set a fixed height to a drop down menu? I would like to have all the options in the list visible in stead of having to scroll through them.

I don't believe you can change the number of display items in a Data Validation List. You can however with a Form Control Combo Box (Located on the Developer Tab).

Hi Kevin, that does indeed -visually- do what I would like, but it is an single object.
I use it in a spreadsheet over several lines, to select a specific category of expenses which is then stored in that particular cell.
