Images sideways

Hello,
I'm putting some images from someone's cell phone in my database and some are upside down and sideways, although they don't display that way when I view them from the directory.  How can make them all display correctly.
Thanks for your help.

The orientation of a picture (portrait or landscape) is contained with in the picture.  I'm not aware of any way to rotate that in Access.
The best way I've found is to edit it in your favorite photo program.  A good free one is IrfanView.  Easy to use - lots of features - well respected.

Windows has the built-in ability to rotate pictures.  You can even highlight several pics and rotate them all at once (see pic below).

When pictures appear sideways at one place and upright at another place, that means the picture itself is not upright but one of those apps is able to auto-rotate for you.  To fix this problem once and for all, the picture needs to be physically put at an upright position (by manually rotation), then saved.
