Is [your VB101 class] a good place for someone who is learning VB for the first time or should have sound knowledge about the topic?

VB101 is a good starting point IF you have Microsoft Visual Basic 6. If you're using Office VBA or a newer version of Visual Basic (2005 to 2010) then this course is not for you.
I cover Office VBA in the various Office courses (Excel, Access, etc.) and I'll be updating this course for VB2010 soon.
