So I've spent some time today looking into the YouTube API to see if I could create a PLAY ALL link, play a playlist so they all played in sequence and update the links after each video ended using the 'onStateChange' event but I can't seem to find a way to play a playlist using the SWFObject and ytPlayer as the URL is different for a single video and playlist.
There is a good example of using your own controls (add styling tho!) [http://code.google.com/apis/youtube/js_example_1.html]
One thing I did come across though was the ability to re-colour the controls of the player which I though would add a nice touch. Change to green for Excel: Just add "&color2=0x00B000" to the src of your links :)
("color1" is for the background if you have the border showing but that shows the video name and link.)
Regards Alex

Very cool. Thank you. I'll play around with this when I get some free time.
