1. You will need a VLookup [http://www.599cd.com/tips/excel/vlookup/]
2. The Rank function will be useful [http://www.599cd.com/tips/excel/rank-function/]
3. You'd probably be better off migrating the data to Access as this is the program better suited to your type of calculations. It is possible to do in Excel, Check out the Intermediate tutorials, Excel 220 onwards Data Lists [http://www.599cd.com/site/courselist/excel/excel220/]

Alex, thanks for the excellent answer. Also FYI, I don't have the "BBOARD" style [hyperlinks] built into my Forums (although I should) but you can type in normal hyperlinks in straight HTML and they will work.
