I just wanted to take a moment to send you a note regarding your Access courses. I started taking courses on Access about 4-5 years ago due to inheriting the maintenance of a legacy Access database. I've taken classes on probably most major platforms and as I've just recently found you, just started purchasing and taking your courses - from the beginning as you have advised. I'm very thankful that I listened to your advice about starting at the beginning even though I have a good amount of experience already.
I thought you might like to know that your lessons have really helped me "fill in the gaps" that so many other courses have left. Your thoroughness is greatly appreciated. While I consider myself an advanced level student in all honesty, I have found much to add to my skills from what many would probably consider the "boring basics". A great example would be your covering all of the properties in the table design view of a table. There are several of those that just don't get used a lot in my experience but knowing what they do exactly adds another possible tool to approach problems that I may not have considered previously. Another would be your explanation of the "And" and "Or" relationship to the query design view. I can't say how many times in the last 5 years I've struggled with setting up the criteria in a complex query and your explanation of "And" across and "Or" down in a multi-criteria query made it finally click.
So, thank you and I look forward to all the great things I've yet to learn as I work through all of the lessons here. I'm enjoying the process and look forward to each new tool that I can add to my skill set.
