Hello Rick I was just watching D40 lesson 4 and your sound drifted right off so you obviously have not resolved your sound problem yet. I dont know what you do to bring it back, but if you could achieve that programmatically then you could have a Windows scheduled task that could run frequently to keep resetting the volume. I may be talking nonsense, but if its possible it might solve the problem. Anyway, thats my thought for the day.
I think it's just me not making sure my mic is placed properly all the time. I've been trying to be more conscious of it. D40 was before I realized there was a problem.
