I noticed the entire file path was showing in up top apparently in the quick access toolbar. So I clicked on the arrow to edit it out. Hower the command file path was not listed as being enabled. So the i went to the ribbon command thinking it was there to remove it. But it was not there. Then I moved the location of the quick action toolbar below the ribbon. Now I saw all the commands that I wanted in the Quick action toolbar. however, the complete file path still showed at the very top of my application. This told me the issue was not actually with quick access quick action toolbar which I had the small arrow that you click to edit the quick action toolbar is still on the toolbar whicj I have located below the ribbon. I do not see any why to edit the very top line of the access application.
thanks, in advance. RVF

You can change that by setting an Application Title by going to File -- Options -- Current Database
