The downside of my celebrity is that I cannot go anywhere in the world without being recognized. It is not enough for me to wear dark sunglasses and a wig. The wheelchair gives me away.
I have 3 fields I would like to search all at ones. Two of the fields I need to be exactly like them or left blank in the search criteria. So for mine it is part number/department/request type.
The part number field can be a "like "*" & [forms]![myform]![partnumsearch] & "*" Or is null". This works with no issues.
The problem I am having is when I do the department box I try "= [forms]![myform]![departsearch] or is null" and this does not work at all.
I haven't even started on the request type box as it will be the same as the department search and I can't seem to get that one working. Anyone have any ideas?
