I think this is the new terms of service but there is $1 cost for each transaction plus 0.6 percent charge for international transactions without calculating the transaction fee
Yeah, this is one of the reasons why I decided to NOT collect the tips myself and give them out to the guys monthly... because of the international charges. Alex and Kevin are outside the US.

if 100 people send a $1. The fee is $1, which means each person pays $1 fee and a $1 tip, the fee is 100%
if you collect it locally the transfer is $100 internationally the fee is $1 that's only a 1% fee
the amount saved is $99 (that is only true if your costomer base is from the USA)
I used to collect all of the tips for the guys when I first put up the Tip Jar page, but it just became a logistical headache for me, so I decided to put direct links to their PP profiles on there for them.
If I send Alex $1, then the fee turns out to be $0.98. So he gets 2 cents. If I send him $100 then the fee is $4.99. He gets $95.01. So yes, Alex and Kevin (who are in the UK) would both benefit if I pooled their tips for them, and I'm willing to do it if they want, but to date it hasn't been an issue. Now maybe if more people tipped them... ehem... :)
But of course the same problem occurs in reverse if the tipper is in the UK and they're tipping someone here in the US. So... IDK.
