when I enter the code you posted on youtube, it does indeed work however when I move to another record to save a different gif it overwrites my previous saved gif file. Please help I really need this simple answer for a project for work. Thanks in advance Prof excellent job in your Lectures they are all inspiring
yes it is in the signatures video the saved signature is overwritten i need the original file to remain and for the app to name the other 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and so on or get tagged with the name entered in the exployee id field
So the name is being saved as "signature" but every time i create a new signature record in the ink-picture box which records the GIF its being saved in the location as "Signature and its deleting the previous record instead of saving as signature1, or signature copy or signature(2)
here is the code i entered in the command coder

BA = SIGNATURECAP.Object.Ink.save(2) 'GIF
Open "F:\SaveGif\Signature.GIF" For Binary As #1
