All the social and scientific benefits or lack thereof are real, so I'm all for that. But nowadays it is much easier to change clocks since most of our time-measuring devices automatically adjust for DST, like our phones, computers, smart TVs, etc.
Richard also mentioned metric system. But we are already using it in many aspects of our lives. Our money is a base-10 system. Photography is done in metric (8mm, 35mm, etc.). Milk cartons are in liters. Our medicine is in milligrams. Even drug dealers measure cocaine in milligrams.
