Email Report

I followed the TechHelp Email Report and created the desired EMail. The Email Message appeared for review wil all the correct data.  I pressed SEND and there were no errors.  There was also NO EMAIL.  The message did not appear in my sent folder, outbox of inbox ( I included cc to my email).  I put an error trap in and there were no errors.  Where did the email go?

There were no errors with your error trap or without it? What are you trying to send the email from, a microsoft account in outlook? Some email providers you have to do additional steps for them to allow you to automate email.

I posted a question earlier and go a response, and question, from Adam Schwanz.  I tried to reply to the question but found out that the Visitor Forum is not a true Forum.  A forum allows discussion on issues.  Visitors cannot reply to anything on the VISITOR FORUM unless you are a MEMBER?
For Adam, There was no error before or after I put in the error trap meaning there was not problem with the code.  I followed the TechHelp video exactly and the TechHelp never mentioned anything about making any modifications to the mail service for the code to function.  I guess the TechHelp video was edited too much.  Adam if you know what I missed please advise.

I merged this to your normal post, I'm pretty sure visitors can reply to their own visitor post, i think Richard fixed that a while ago and people have been, but I'm not sure if you need to do anything to be able to as far as verifying email or anything, maybe he will reply here when he has a minute about that.

So, what I was saying for example was when sending automated messages with GMail for instance, you now need to setup 2FA and create a special app password to be able to send automated emails out in your settings, I believe it's under less secure apps if you want to Google it. I know I've had to make some changes to our azure domain as well to allow automated emails out of outlook with our office365 accounts. I have not tried the method in the video because I only use the automated emails but it would not surprise me at all if it was something stupid like that. Thats why I was curious what email provider you had?

Could you upload an image of the email window that it creates just to double check that too?
