Hello! Long time listener, first time caller. I am attempting to set up a form for my company's internal calibration records. I have a table where the data is stored. The tools are serialized and grouped (eg., Group A, Group B, etc.) in like tools (eg. Micrometer, Caliper, etc.). With different criteria for each group. My approach is to create a form that is for the many groups. Also, there may be different calibration date intervals for each tool and group respectively. I attempted to create a form with a sub form. The "parent" form is the tool info while the subform is for the measurement data is intered. I'm having a hard problem keeping the data integrity. How can I ensure that the subform will retain the data for each unique tool (Serial Number)? Thank You!
I would review my Subforms video and make sure your Linked Master and Linked Child field properties are set. That should keep the relationship between the parent and subform. Aside from that, without seeing a sample of your data, it's hard to tell.
