How can I keep my order history with the old records if there is a change in the address or the prices in the tables?

Richard covers that in the Developer I think on or about Developr 20 If I recall richard set up the invoice project to copy the info to the invoice and save it to a table this way you can pull up old invoices and see when and where it was sent it also keeps the price of the item on that date. This is one of my favorite as he develops it and enhance with time through the developer series and tech help

Oh bummer! I honestly don't have the time to patiently sit through the full Beginner-Expert-Advanced series to reach what I want. I have started watching the videos and indeed I love them but it will take me ages to get there. You don't happen to have a link to that specific section?
This is just a matter of copying the data to the order with an event. I also cover how to do it in the extended cut for Invoicing. The member database does this. It copies the product into to the order detail table so if you change the price in the product table, it doesn't affect existing orders.
You can do the same thing with the customer data. When you create the order, copy their address so you know what the address was at the time the order was placed/shipped.
