I want to filter a report based on the filter set of a [SubForm]. In the "Filter Reports" video, Richard shows how to filter a report based on the filter set in a [Form].

The button to open the report is on the SubForm.

To use your example, When I pick John Smith in my [Customer] form, I can then set filters in my [CustomerOrders] SubForm to display John Smith's open or closed orders. If I select closed orders, I want to click the report button and get a list of John Smith's closed orders.

Does that make sense? Richard's vba code in the "Filter Reports" video works great for a Form. But when it's a SubForm within a Form, then it doesn't work.
