Recently, i bought Microsoft Office 2010 Professional. The download file had a .rar file extension. While downloading, i was required to also download and install WinRar. My zip files are now looking different. Is this this WinRar worth keeping on my computer? is it better than the WinZip that i had before? Please advice me
Thank you!

Reply from Richard Rost:
They're about the same. RAR is just a different compression algorithm. I used WinZip for many years then switched to WinRar... but just because I was finding a lot of files I was downloading were compressed with RAR so I needed it. WinRar handles both RAR and ZIP. They're tiny apps, so if you want to keep both it's not going to matter much.
