Duplicate Records
Michael Moore

I have watched the video on creating a duplicate record.  This has been applied to my database.  However, not all items are copied into the new record?  Also, the ID number (Record number) is incremented.  I do not want the ID number to change as this is linked to my customer database.  Please advise on a duplicate record function that works!   Thank you!

If you have an ID from another system don't make it an AutoNumber in your Table.

In reference to my previous post about duplicating a record.  I have created the "button" per Richard's video.  It works, but there are some issues.  The ID select is incremented by one automatically.  I DO NOT want this to happen.  The ID select (or record select) IS NOT an auto number field.  So, how do I prevent this from taking place.  I DO NOT want auto numbering!  Please help
