I am taking lessons in Access right now but I do a lot of work in Excel. On one of my spreadsheets I have a list of data, 4 columns and 30 or 40 +- Rows. I now need to copy/link this data to a different sheet to do further manipulation. On my source sheet the data has its Row Sizes and Column widths set to the values I want. When I copy the data from the source sheet and past them on a new sheet the rows and columns sizes do not show correctly. I know there is a Past that can maintain the Columns sizes, but I don't see a paste for Rows or both. Also Paste special can also handle pasting column widths. Is there any way to copy paste and maintain both sizes? I have used VB in excel but I don't remember if this can be done with VB. If it can be done please show how. Thanks ahead of time.
Yes, this is definitely possible. In fact, I wrote some code a few years ago to do something very similar to this because I would always copy and paste rows that had long text in them, and I wanted to have the row size matched. So let me dig up the code for this. I'm sure I can find it. This would actually make a really good video. So if you're not in a hurry, stay tuned. I'll make a video for you.

Mr. Rost. I am definitely NOT in a hurry, and I am anxious to see your fix. Have you brought this issue up to Microsoft?
One last thing Richard. What if I wanted to use a different type paste, such as Paste Link. How would that change the code? Also, include the change other Paste types/specials if they can work with the code.
