TechHelp & Fast Tips Videos Merging Together

If you've been following my channel for any time, you're probably familiar with my TechHelp and Fast Tips videos. Well, I'm getting rid of Fast Tips and I'm just going to call everything TechHelp from now on. Originally, my goal was to have TechHelp questions be actual questions from students provide a detailed answer and usually an extended cut video for the members and those are usually like 10 to 15 maybe 20 minutes long each. Then I came up with the idea to do fast tips videos also because sometimes I just got a quick tip that I want to share - you know it's maybe three four or five minutes long. But then after doing a couple fast tips I realized that most of my fast tips are ending up being 15, 20 minutes long too, so they're not really fast.

So at this point, the two are kind of blending together and it's silly to keep two separate series going. So I'm just going to merge them all together in the TechHelp. So moving forward, not every TechHelp video is going to be 10, 15 minutes long and not every one is going to have an extended cut. Some are going to be short, some are going to be long, and some won't even be based on questions. It will be whatever I feel like doing that day. So it's going to basically be both of them together as one thing. So don't think that I'm killing one or the other. It's just you're still going to get the same videos.

Nothing is changing except the names. I'm getting rid of fast tips, that's all. So don't go sending me emails complaining, where did the fast tips go? I'm bundling it all together into one big nice package. Makes it easier for me to so that's it just wanted to keep you guys informed uh... live long and prosper and i'll see you next time.

Today's video from Computer Learning Zone is an update about the structure of my content. For those who have been following my channel, you know I have two different types of videos: TechHelp and Fast Tips. I am announcing a change where I will be merging these two into a single series called TechHelp.

TechHelp started as a format where I answered actual questions from students in detail, often producing extended cut videos for the members. These usually lasted between ten and twenty minutes. Later, I introduced Fast Tips so I could share brief, quick pointers, which were supposed to be just a few minutes long.

However, as I started making more Fast Tips, I noticed that many of them were actually turning into longer sessions, nearly twenty minutes sometimes. The two formats have really started to overlap to the point where there's no real distinction in length or depth.

Because of this, I will no longer be keeping two separate video types. Moving forward, everything will be called TechHelp. Some TechHelp episodes will be long, some short, and some may not even answer direct questions. I will simply share whatever topic or tip I feel is valuable at the time.

There is no need to worry—none of the content will go away. You will still get the same useful videos as before, just without the Fast Tips name. No need to email me about the change or ask where Fast Tips went. This streamlines everything for me and keeps it easier to manage.
