Yeah, I've got another video planned showing how to do this with a batch file. This is what I have on my machines because Windows drive mapping can be flaky and they can just drop from time to time, so I was gonna show people how to do this...

net use M: /delete /yes
net use M: \\NETBOOK3\Music /user:xxxxx password
net use N: /delete /yes
net use N: \\SPOCK\External1 /user:xxxxx password
net use P: /delete /yes
net use S: \\SPOCK\C /user:xxxxx password
net use V: /delete /yes
net use V: \\NETBOOK3\Video /user:xxxxx password
net use Z: /delete /yes
net use Z: \\SERVER\Database /user:xxxxx password

Richard When you do your video explain the difference between peer-to-peer vs domain accounts.  When mapping P2P machines, the user account must match that local machine.  Where domain networks have a centralized account management.

It's also great to just see what you have already mapped.

John yeah, I'm probably gonna hold off on domain networks for a while. I would say that 90% of my students are small businesses that probably don't have domain controllers. I'll get to that eventually, but for now we're just gonna stick with the peer-to-peer basics.

Alex that's only about half of them. I removed some from the list.

Oh the joys of setting up your own domain
Could then build your own CA too and have loads of fun! Who doesn't love cert wrangling...
