I have Access database file FY23 where tables and queries have been created for fiscal year FY23. My data source is excel file. The data structure in FY23 and the new data FY24 is exactly the same. No changes to the data structure. I created monthly excel reports which import data from the queries in the Access file. I updated the data in my data source file to the current fiscal year FY24. What changes/updates should I make to update the Access database file to run my monthly reports for the current fiscal year FY24?

In general it is not recommended that you divide your tables in separate years. Instead you're better off limiting the data in your queries for reports. Not using separate files for each year.
I'm drawing a blank at the moment but will look for the videos explaining it for you.
Get started with Normalizing Data and I'll keep looking for you.
The Too Many Tables video explains a bit about not having separate tables as well. Though not quite what I'm looking for.
