Hi, I work for a city and we use Office 2003.  I am trying to put together a spreadsheet to keep track of ambulance and Emergency statistics. For one of the things we want to track, I am trying to embed an AND and an OR function inside an IF function.  Is this even possible?  This is what I'm trying to do, and I get an error that it is not correct, but I can't find anywhere how to make it correct.

=IF(OR(Y3>0,AA3>0)AND(OR(U3>0,V3>0,W3>0,X3>0)),1)

It's giving me an error about the AND function.  Any help would be amazing!

You would need to put the AND function outside the OR functions, just like the OR functions are working…

=AND(X,Y,Z)

Now X could be:

OR(A1>1,B1>2)

But the AND function operates the same exact way. So I think what you want is:

=IF(AND(OR(Y3>0,AA3>0),OR(U3>0,V3>0,W3>0,X3>0)),1)

I haven't tested it, but it looks right to me.
