ComboBox

Hello everybody
I am trying to get some information on "How to setup a Combobox with 2ID's". So far I couldn't find anything.
If there is a video please let me now. If not, maybe it's worth a short Tech Help Video? :-P
Some more details: I have 2 Entity Tables:
Entity1:Parties(anything a live)
Entity2:Asset (Sewage Treatment Plants)
e.g. Documents:
Each Entity has specific documents. I would like to build a document list with all documents. (already done) and I would like to have a Combobox which shows for each document in the list the related entity.
A Combobox able to handle all Entities in one box.
I know how to build the list for each table. But I really would like to have it in one place.

Hi......
Yup, I've done that. I also have a junction table with Entity1ID and Entity2ID and I've added a SelectedEntityID.
From here on i am not sure where to go. Should i have the SelectedEntityID as Type1=entity1 and Type2=for Entity2 ?
Or should be SelectedEntityID an actual ID? So far I have build the combobox but I can't get it to work as intented.

If they are all Entities, why have multiple Entity Tables?
I would use one Table and have a field to determine the Entity Type.

thought about that in the beginning and had to choose between 2 headaches (for me) running one table with different forms depending on the EntityType or 2 tables. Based on my knowledge about access at this point. I went for the 2 Table solution.
And based on all the fields I would need in one table I thought it might be better to have 2 Tables. Entity1 is basically Customer, Suppliers, Employees,... and so on with all fields you can think off. Names, Tel.,Email, Address etc.
Entity2 has plants only. entirely technical stuff. and quite a few different types as well. So I went for 2 Tables.

Can any document have more than one entity related?

No. One document one EntityID only.

I agree with Kevin... One Table then have Entity and EntityType fields.  When building forms for differing users, restrict access to differing entity and entity types through queries and User Passwords.

Going by what we know of the Table structure (the fields in each Table). They seem to be completely different. I think the Table names are throwing us off (I would have named them EntityT & PlantT). If they are that different I think two Combo Boxes is the better solution.

Dirk Merkel Please post screenshots of the Table structure (Design View).
