Do Events

Im asking this out od curiosity the do events in the status can this be called one time and it will continue or does it have to be mentioned when needed? lets say do events is called on load does it need to be said again in the status box?

Code loops in Windows will run tightly without letting Windows update screen elements.   DoEvents was added to Visual Basic to let the calling program give control temporarily back to Windows, so Windows can pump out events to the programs display elements.   Control will return back to your VBA program after Windows updates the screen.   If your program finishes soon after, no problem, but if continues in a code loop, you again need to call DoEvents.   Typically, you only need to call DoEvents as frequently as you'd want your display elements to be updated.   I usually look for a refresh rate of about 5 times a second or more.
