Part Number Management

Good morning Richard,
I don't know if you have already covered this or not but here goes.
Is there a way to create a form and or table that when you enter a part number, it would also show the description of the part number, bin location, cost of the part, price that is sold at and quantity?
Could you maybe show how to do this?
It almost sound like a Many-To-Many situation.
Thank you,
David

I would be interested in this if it were a tutorial video.

Apart from price that is sold at and quantity the easiest way is a combo box that contains all the information, then in a unbound field display the values like this:

Field Name: binLocationTxt
Field Control Source: =ComboBoxName.Column(2) Where "2" is the number of the field in the combo box (Remember it is Zero based)

Hi David, Sami is absolutely correct. When you select the part you can make as many of the fields visible as you want.  John

Hello Richard,
I am still not sure how to do this.
Enter Part Number- OU812
Description- Blinker Fluid
Bin Location: D3E
Quantity- 2
Unit Price- $3.50
Extended Price- $7.00
and have the result show all Fields on the form and or table.
Maybe do the Part Number in a Search Form?
As always,
Thank you,
David

Good morning Richard,
I am hoping that you can show me and others how to design a form and or query on how to do this.
I am still unclear on how to do this.
I am thinking multiple concatenations?
As always,
Thank you, I really appreciate all of your videos.

Right now, I am not too concerned about the DateCreate, DateSale and the QtyOH or QtyOO

I know how to do this with a query:
Like "*" & [Forms]![PartSearchF]![SearchPartBox] & "*"
This works fine, but it's not in a form this way.
Thank you, and have a good day!
