How to Create Buttons in Access Without Macros
Michael Landis

My company does not allow any Macros or Active-X in Access.  I am interested in getting buttons to work on your CRM multipart series with this restrictive requirement.

1) On the form that you want to have a button, select the button control and drop it on the form.
The wizard will start. Go ahead and hit Cancel, see image below.

This will open the editor and write your VBA code to do whatever you want the command to execute. For example, to open up a form called "CustomerF", you simply type in the following command:

Docmd.OpenForm "CustomerF"

If you do not know VBA, watch the following video:

Are you sure they'll even allow VBA then?  I've seen companies that prevent Access from being a trusted document, which will also prevent the VBA from working.

I only bring this up so you don't do a bunch of work and find out you can't use it.

Yeah, I'm sure if your company has macros and ActiveX disabled, they're not going to allow VBA either, and you're not going to be able to use the Command Button wizard because all the Command Button wizard does is generate macros behind the buttons. So essentially they've neutered Access on your machine, and it's no better than a glorified Excel.

DOD does it also, they get you a Lambo and make you drive like it a Prius.  LOL...(365 and disable all features.)
