I Figured Out How to Edit Date and Currency Values

In the table, convert the troublesome fields to Short Text. ... wait, wait, don't panic.  In the Query, alias the DateTime and Currency like MyDateTime: cdate(TroublesomeDate). ... wait, wait, it's not that much work when you see the benefit.

BENEFIT: The user enters 9a, or 7p, and the AfterUpdate event for the textbox is coded to replace the non-conforming data into DateType data.

On the form, after-update runs code that iterates through every variation of of text-like time like 9:a or 7:1p.  In the query, sort on the alias.

Though a lot of work, I've been using my Datebook time field as ShortText for years. Everywhere there's a time field, like my Scheduling Form, the user can deploy text-like entries which makes user-experience must more human-being-friendly.

That is very cool. I did something like that before, but I used a text field to do the data entry and then I saved the actual value to a field in the table. So the text field was just for display. But that's a pretty cool trick too. I might just steal that LOL.

The HelperT can be consulted for Hours Of Operation set by the User, or Black-Out Dates for vacations.
