Hi all, I have a question about the members template order form. Hopefully I have explained my issue on the photo of the form.

I should note that is in the sub form OrderDetailF of the Order Form. Not sure where the actual control is. I tried to figure out what might control it but didn't come up with anything. Still picking up on all this again.

Were you sitting on a new record when you started typing?

I actually opened the Order Form from the Timesheet Form and the only thing that shows is the Hourly Billing produced by the Timesheet Form. The 1 - $0.00 $0.00 line shows up when I start to type something into the notes box. I need to make notes without that line showing up. If I am going to add a product I will most likely use the combobox-add feature or type product in the empty record.

In looking at it I guess it would be a new record. Before I type into the notes box the arrow and cursor are active in the empty record. I still don't know what the purpose of a $0.00 record would be for. I have to delete it each time.

There are times when I'm only going to bill for hours worked but need to provide notes as to the job. There will be no other charges or records added to the order form or invoice.

Yeah, this happens if you type in the notes and you're on a blank new record. Remember that the stuff on the bottom of the form is in the footer of the subform, so it's bound to whatever record you're on in the details section above it. It's complicated having a form with a footer and then a subform inside of that that also has a footer, so you have to be careful where you're at. You could put an event in there that says if the product name is null then force them to type that in first.
