Calendar

I have created a calendar following the Calendar Seminar method. How can I change a task that is marked as closed so that it appears in italics instead of in normal text?
I would also like to add a button in my main menu that opens the calendar directly.

The problem is that I have a Start Date form that must be opened first; otherwise, the system does not work. However, I would like to be able to open the Calendar directly without having to show the start date form first.
My calendar was created based on a seminar that was likely held around 2009. I believe Richard mentioned at some point that, at that time, it was not possible to open the calendar directly; you had to go through a Start Date form first.

It needs to have a Date populated somehow
Which date would you like it defaulted too?

This is how it looks now. Day 1 = Start Date
Dim X As Integer
Dim S1 As String, S2 As String
CalculateStartDate
DoCmd.OpenForm "CalendarMonthF"
Forms!CalendarMonthF!Month = Calendar
S1 = "Date" & X
S2 = "Day" & X
Day 1 is the first Monday

Day 1 in the calendar is counted as the first Monday of the current month or period.
The button should open the calendar without the ‘DatePicker’ form

If a specific start date is required, would it be most appropriate to use December 1, 2025, since it falls on a Monday?

You can choose whichever date you want, it calculates the month and first date from that
