Where does your SQL end?

I think your string gets out of whack on the "IsActive" line after returning from SearchBox.Text. I think it would evaluate something like:

"IsActive like "*Yes*" & " * ""Or " & SearchBox.SetFocus
                               ^ ampersand is inside string
                                     ^ 3rd asterisk is out side of string
then the string opens but doesn't really close

Donald let them try and work it out first with some guidance :p

Thank you Alex Hedley And Donald blackwell.  I took the IsActive field out.  It now compiled clean.  To answer Alex's question.  It would end with the last statement.  
From my standpoint this thread is now closed.
