Thank you so much for your dedication and commitment to excellence in making distance learning so much fun. You are extremely articulate in bringing across the lessons that everyone can easily understand and follow.
I do have a request that I would like to see you add to the expert level, and of course a more sophisticated version using Visual Basic. If I was going to link an object from the database to a location on the computer, how can I change the name of the file on the hard drive on the fly from the database, in addition to selecting a group a file names and updating that group?

You want to RENAME the file on the hard drive from the database, or just type in a different name to use? Either way, if this is a linked object (like an Excel sheet you have linked as a table) I can't think of any NON-VBA way to do this.

I don't understand what you mean by "selecting a group of file names and updating that group." Can you elaborate, please?
