The table has PastureLoc --the pastures names like North Pasture or like Highway Pasture We move the cows in groups from one pasture to another for breeding and grazing reasons. GroupID has the different cow group names --- like older cows or like first time heifers 2008. The PDate is the date that we turned that group out to the pasture. Say GroupID older cows (35 cows) gets turned out to the North Pasture on  4/27/08. By 6/1/08 they have eat all the grass so (older cows) have to be moved to the Highway Pasture. We put in the database under Pastureloc –Highway and under the GroupID --older cows and under the Pdate-- 6/1/08. The first entry in the D-base was North under Pastureloc, the GroupID was older cows but the date was 4/27/08. The Pasture query will ask you to enter dates between [enter turn out date] and [enter take out date] if you put 6/1/08 to 8/1/08. The result  should say we have 35 cows at the Highway  Pasture and nothing at the North Pasture, but it says we have 35 cows at the North and 35 at the Highway Pasture. I have to go into the PDate field and take out the 4/27/08 date for the query and report to be right. Is there a way so I don’t have to take that date out? At the end of the year I would like to see a report that says older cows in North pasture from 4/27/08 to 5/30/08. Older cows at Highway from 6/1/08 to 8/1/08, so we can see how many cows are in a pasture and for how long. Is this possible?  Keep in mind we have 5 different pastures and 7 different cow GroupID’s. Different times of the year we will run 3 or more cow groupsID’s together. At the end of the year we bring in all 7 cow groupID’s to a Home Pasture for the winter. Thanks for helping me with this
