Access 2007 Interface
Alan Hill

Dear Richard
I have been working with the interface for a couple of months now. You do get used to where things are. I find the more I use it the more familiar it becomes. The button wizard always writes macros and it is an extra step to convert it. Easily solved, turn off the wizard and do it yourself.
In a couple of years a lot of people will have Access 2007 and will need your help, including me. There are a few positives. I went from Access XP to Access 2007. I will go from Windows XP to Windows 7. I seem to skip entire versions. I can print vertical text now. I can create very small picture orientated databases. Microsoft still has 95% of the market. I do not see that changing anytime soon. Ok dump Access and start using Open Office. It works and you can get some stuff done, but eventually you will come back. So for all it's faults right now there really is not another way to go. Plus it's not what we want. It's what our customers are using. No one has ever asked me to help them with an open office project. Stick with my friend you know you have to. Too many people need you.

Kindest Regard

Alan Hill
