Hello Richard

I notice in your videos on the lessons when you put a caption in e.g. orders and quotations for last 90 days it appears in the middle of the screen with mine I'm running office 365 64-bit do you know why mine does not go to the centre of the screen like yours does

Michelle

Pierce sorry for so many questions

Yeah, unfortunately there's no easy way to fix that. It's different from version to version. I'm using MS365 32-bit and my form captions are centered. Older versions they were left-aligned. Who knows what MS will do with them next. They should make it a property setting!

The only way to 100% control what your forms look like is to custom design them yourself: Custom Form Backgrounds.

Never apologize for asking questions. That's what these Forums are here for! I like the questions. You're here to learn, and it's my job to teach you. :)

Hello Richard

Thank you for that information as far as the caption goes are you running a 64-bit or 32-bit operating system version of Windows and if you are running a 64-bit would you recommend using the 32-bit version of office

Merry Christmas and happy New Year I have a few plans to attend new working on the database over the Christmas period while I have some time

Michelle

Here are my thoughts on 32 vs. 64-bit Office. You should definitely be running 64-bit WINDOWS. But Office is still up in the air. I still run 32-bit Office for backward compatibility with a LOT of databases I've developed over the past 20 years. However MS has made 64-bit the new default install option, so I'll be including both options for new projects going forward.

Merry Christmas to you as well. Thank you.

I appreciate the compliments. Thank you for recognizing the level of detail that I put into my lessons. I get emails quite often from other people that are like "why do you have so many lessons?" or "why are your lessons so expensive? I can get a full course from [insert competitor name here] for like $59." Yeah, that's great... but I've seen a lot of my competitors' courses. They don't cover anywhere NEAR the depth of material that I do.

Nor are they as entertaining as I am. LOL. JK. :)
