Access Crashes

I am in the Loan Amortization Seminar (video #5) and every time I enter the amount paid, it starts recalculating all the fields and then Access crashes. If I delete (doRecalc) from the private sub "amount paid after update" it is able to successfully calculate the FIRST payment, however, when I retype DoRecalc, it crashes the system. The additional coin under private sub Do Recalc() does not seem to have any effect on the performance of the database. Only the DoRecalc mentioned above.

I would also like to point out I am working from a MAC computer and using windows parallel. I do not have windows installed on my computer. Thank you.

Is the db made from scratch, by you?
Does the sample db download do the same?

This database has been downloaded hundreds, if not thousands of times. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with it. I'd suspect it's an issue with Parallels. Of course I don't support Mac. I haven't used an Apple product since the 80s.

The Database is made from scratch by me. Everything seems to work perfect until I get to that point. Should I maybe rewrite the entire thing? or start the database over again?

I don't dislike Apple products until I have issues with compatibility. I feel like other brands get viruses so easily and at least with Apple I have a better peace of mind without the extra costs of antivirus I guess.

Did you try what Alex suggested and try the sample db download? If the sample doesn't work either it's better not to waste your time rewriting the entire thing.

Shouldn't matter that you're on a Mac since you're using a VM.

Adam Schwanz I think I will try downloading it and going from there. I was trying to learn how to do it but it is proving to be very difficult.

Alex Hedley I had the same though. I have not had an issue with the system yet, this seems very weird to me.

Thank you all for the help and suggestions.

Just wanted to post an update, it seems something was wrong with my coding. Not sure what was wrong, since I checked everything several times over, but the only other option was to restart the database from scratch to fix it. I opted to download the template instead and it works wonderfully!. So I can only asume something was obviously wrong on my coding. Anyways, thank you all for the help and suggestions.
