Display Date Criteria on Form
Robert Sena

Is there any way to display the date criterial on a form based on a query?  I was able to make it work on a report but am having some issues getting the dates to display on a form.  [StartDate] and [EndDate]
Thanks

Aren't you taking the criteria from textbox(es) on the Form to pass to the Query?
Otherwise it's just hard coded.

I was entering the date parameters upon opening the form but if I can open the form then set my parameters that will work better,
and the textboxes will show the criteria I need.  Thanks Alex.

Need Help
How I would go about getting the parameters [FromDate] to [ToDate], from a query, to display on a form. I do know how to get the parameters to display on my report.
Thanks

@Robert I've moved your above post to this thread, instead of a new question.

Are you currently doing this?
Query Criteria

Yes.  The query is working.  I need the query parameter dates on a form so I can upload the dates to a table for permanent record.

Your best bet then is to create an intermediate form to gather the date info. Then you can both store the dates and use them in your query.  That is demonstrated in the Value From a Form video Alex linked above.

Ok got it to work.  Everything goes to the form..I used the following syntax.  Is there any way to stop the query from popping up?  The values are populating on the form like I want them to.  Thanks.

Private Sub RunQueryBtn_Click()
    DoCmd.OpenQuery "PayEstimateSummaryQ", acViewNormal
End Sub

Did you swap the Query criteria to take the values from the Form?

I did not.  How would I do that?  That would really come in handy.

Why aren't you setting the output of the query a continuous detail of the Form
With your criteria in the Form header?

I'm still new at this and learning quick.  Now that you have suggested it, I can research it so I can build it as you described.
