Query

If I have one ContactListTBL and I have 3 different places I want to refer to that list in my TaskTBL...
1. Process owner
2. Developer
3. Assigned to
What would be a good way to handle that?
I am guessing I would have to put a lookup wizard field in my TaskTBL, not my FormQ.
What I am trying to achieve is in my TaskTBL I have to assign the process owner to the list of tasks, then assign the person who is responsible for developing the task and then be able to see who it is currently assigned to in the review process. I don't think I have to have different contact list, do I? Maybe I could just add a combo box to my form for those additional 2 fields. Just looking for some advice.

Never use Lookup Fields. See Evil Access Stuff.
Use a Relational Combo Box on your form for each of your 3 fields.

No, I give up on relational combo boxes I can not figure them out. Got me all messed up. I had to trash the copy of my database and make another copy of my master. I think I am going to stick to using access like a spreadsheet. Pretty flat. I can definitely see why more people are not using access. It is not for the light hearted. I went back used the look up wizard in my table and created the form based on the table. But I appreciate all the suggestions and help for sure.

Awww... it makes me sad to hear that. Don't give up. You just need more practice. I see people get frustrated when they try to tackle a project that's too complex right off the bat. Try building a database for fun. What's one of your hobbies? One of my first databases was to track my coin collection. Do something like that.
