Receiving Multiple Items

Thank you in advance for any advice.

I am attempting to modify the concepts shown in the order/invoice video to create a freight tracking database, where one customer brings in multiple items.

I have the database set up as it is in the video however I am having difficulty making an entry form to add records to the 'order details'

Ultimately, what I would like to do is choose a customer from my list and within the same form be able to enter freight pieces and have them displayed on a continuous form.

My attempts so far have led me to having 3 subforms, one for the orderID, one for the OrderdetailsID and a third continuous form pulling info out of OrderDetailsID and displaying it in a continuous form.

Any guidance would be much appreciated

Also, Thank you Richard for all of the amazing free content you provide.  It was definitely worthwhile becoming a paid subscriber and I will be upgrading my membership for my next heavy lift - an aircraft maintenance, inventory, and tracking database.

Can you post some screen shots of what you WANT it to look like?

Can you upload some images? Maybe how you want it to look? Does your current setup work or is there errors?

I have screenshots of what I have set up and the relationship layout

I am using a query to populate the subform which lists the items the customer has brought in to be shipped.

Currently, it will only display one line

After looking closely at my database design I am not confident I fully understand what I am doing, so I will go back and watch both the order/invoice videos and try to fix this myself.  It is a fairly complex task and I am not confident that I have my relationships or my query to populate the continuous form set up properly and I don't want to waste your time troubleshooting something dumb I may have done.  For reference, how does one upload a jpg to a thread?

Thank you

Shane
