Start Time End Time Total

Hello,
I have watched multiple videos on dates and times. I mostly have it figured out(I think). I have queries that work fine for seeing time totals and such. What I can't seem to figure out is how to have the value in my query show up on a form after pushing a "Completed" button on the form. Using DateDiff I get a number like this-.0766666712 or something similar.
Isn't there a way to link a text box I want the value to be in to the query?
Thank you in advance.

Bind the textbox to a field in your query.
With your button refresh/requery the Form.

Create task and Completed Task are working okay. Time on task is where I cant exactly get what I am aiming for. The first time on task has this at the end /60, the second time on task has this at the end \60. What I really want to display on the form is the TimeOnTaskQ field shown as it is from my Query.
Thank you!

I did watch the Task Manager Video, and there is a possibility I may have missed something toward the end of the video about the Completed portion of the video. I saw how to do the query i different ways, but I don't remember it showing up on the form anywhere. That's what I could have missed.

Hi,  I have been trying to look to see what you are doing here.  I use mine for the time spend on a specific job, howvever, I need to have a pause button say when the employee attends a bathroom break, lunch, end of shift, recommence at start of shift.

EG a job takes 25 mins to make a product,  I have a start and finish times, but cant resolve the middle bit.

9.00 start job, at 9:10 (stop clock) attend bathroom break, at 9:17 (start clock) at 9:19 (stop clock) as machine breaks down at 12:37 machine starts up, at 12:59 the job is complete.  time taken 34mins.  I have looked at your time clock video and believe part of it lays here, but I cant get my head around the middle bits.

Sorry forgot to mention that I have a number of parts that make up a production line

a - headrails cut  - manual time taken 5mins
b - slats cut - machine time taken 25 mins
c - headrail assembled  - manual time taken 12mins
d - slats assembled - manual time taken 20mins
e - test and QC - manual time taken 3 mins

each process can be started at any time, but generally b and a are done first, c has to be complete before d, e happens at the end and any time after the goods are completed.
