Very Good Topic. This is a Case that many will take advantage of.
I would really like to see a more robust video on this topic as you implied that you might do if enough of us asked for it.
Also is it necessary to use Google Remote Desktop or can I just send a link to the database and the other people will be allowed to open the database?

P.S. It is very hard to follow the final code because of the edits and jumping back and forth. And Not a Gold subscription is not in the cards in the near future.

Garry - re your P.S. -
Certainly your call for sure.

For me personally, I find that this "jumping back and forth" is invaluable from a trouble shooting perspective.
Is it perfect? No.  But what code is always perfect, right out of the gate, 100% of the time?
There was way more to learn here than just the issue at hand of syncing the files.

In addition I would say, don't let this one video cloud your vision on ALL the videos.  Richard has presented tons of stuff that more than offsets this one.

BTW
Richard is using Google Remote Desktop to simulate another user on another computer while testing the program.

He indicated in the video you would distribute the Checkout.accdb to the other people that will be sharing your db.
He also said it would be a training issue that you would have to teach them to check out the db, use it, then put it away. - Check it back in.

I completely agree with this, but when trying to keep up with entering the code it would be nice to make sure that the completed sub or function can be seen in one screen or if too long for one screen scroll down so the completed sub can be seen before moving on.

Hmm - I can see your point but I never worried about it because I have the Gold Membership.
It is worth it to me to have the database and the finished code as well as the access to the Code Vault where Richard develops more extensive code / functions.

Most of the time he does say, "For you Silver Members pause the screen and start typing - The Gold members can download the database."  (or something to that effect )

For me the extra $4 a month is well worth the price.

I gotta give you SOME incentive to upgrade. Next come black CENSORED blocks over the code. LOL. Just kidding. I'll try to pause longer over the finished code segments in the future. Thanks for the feedback.
