Modify Multiday Event

Hi everyone. Is there any way to modify the dates for existing multi-day event? The addendum shared by Alex only teach me how to create the event, and I'm at lost figuring on how to modify the existing event.

It creates separate events so you could modify the individuals.

What is your use case?
Create 1/4 - 5/4
Then want to move it a day ahead to 2/4 - 6/4?

Hi Alex.
Yes, correct. The case is exactly as what you have described.

Not really an easy way as there isn't a record of your original range.
You could add one in a supplementary table and do some checking with that
Or you could just see what currently exists and add/delete the diff but how do you determine which are needed

OK -
I admit I haven't been in the Calendar Seminar for quite some time but...

Are you over thinking this?  If, in the case Alex gave above, you are just shifting the dates forward by one day for the whole range.  The program Alex provided created 5 individual records.  Why not just edit the date of the first record changing it it the last record?  So edit 1/4 change to 6/4.  Now you have an event that ranges from dates 2/4 to 6/4 on your calendar.

Seems pretty straight forward to me unless I'm missing something.

What if, in an extreme case, I would have to move the events to a week later?
Is it I will need to find each record and edit the dates 1 by 1?
Is it possible for Access to populate the list box with the event just from reading the start and end date?

Make a query to select your event dates.  Then either change them one by one or convert the query to an update query.

See Beginner 1 for basic queries.
Beginner 5 for more advanced queries.

You really need to start at the beginning and get a good grasp on how to work and manipulate Access.  I see that you jumped right in to the Expert series and also the Calendar Seminar which is at the very least Intermediate to Advanced level.  Do yourself a favor and get the basics down first.  You will just make yourself miserable if you don't.
