MsgBox question
Mark Budinger

I have this VB for a command button that deletes the current record. How do I force Part_Number to be in all caps with my current vb?

Private Sub cmdDelete_Click()

If MsgBox("Delete this record? " & Part_Number & "", vbQuestion + vbYesNo, "Delete") = vbYes Then

  Me.Recordset.Delete

End If

End Sub

Regards,
Mark

Use the UCase function.
UCase(Part_Number)

Once again Kevin you came to the rescue.  One more thing. Is there a way to display a ? after Part_Number. I am still learning and struggling with proper syntax. This is my new VB

If MsgBox("Are you sure you want to delete " & UCase([Part_Number]) & "", vbQuestion + vbYesNo, "Delete") = vbYes Then

Regards,
Mark

Yes. Just concatenate it on to the end of the string.

If MsgBox("Are you sure you want to delete " & UCase([Part_Number]) & "?", vbQuestion + vbYesNo, "Delete") = vbYes Then
