Another DCount Problem
Dan Jackson

Hi Guys,

Can't get this DCount to work.

=Nz(DCount("*","LOAInQ","Telesales=" & [Combo_SearchTelesales] & "And LOAInDate>=#" & Format([Text_SearchDateStart],"mm/dd/yyyy") & "# And LOAInDate<=#" & Format([Text_SearchDateEnd],"mm/dd/yyyy") & "#"),0)

Good news is i've confirmed the date part works fine - it's the Telesales= bit that's not working, so i refined it down

=Nz(DCount("*","LOAInQ","Telesales=" & [Combo_SearchTelesales]),0) - Generates a #Error which is flickering. Can confirm there are no timers running anywhere

Tried Specifying a particular name
=Nz(DCount("*","LOAInQ","Telesales=Henry"),0) - Same as above

Again, All works if i take out the telesales bit. I'm trying to get it to read the value from [Combo_SearchTelesales] which uses the proper method i.e.
Column 1 = UserID (0 Width)
Column 2 = UserName (Bound & Visible)

Thanks for any help. At least the date bit works!!!

Dan, do you need training wheels? Use the DDQ function. :)

DDQ? DDQ?!?! Now wouldn't it be nice if someone made a function that would mean I wouldn't have to use my brain (Or Kevin's in this case)!
