Besides an Estimating Access Data Base I am developing  I also have a simple contact data base for Students as I am a contract Instructor for CSEA NYS Partnership and DEHI University. I need a sub Form On the Contact form that has an entry for 8 different classes for each student contact. I have done this before on my estimating data base which has a many to many sub form matching skill set to employees Bu I cant get it to work with this one Help I am an Access Advanced student about to move to developer Thank You For Your Help in advance, Tom Gardega

You say you can't get it to work.  We need more detail.  What won't work?  What have you tried?

You might need to brush up on Many-to-Many.   Just search the Microsoft Access Outlines  for the courses you have.
Also the Many-to-Many TechHelp.

I have a contact form with pertinent information including sub forms for multiple telephone numbers and emails They work as intended. I need to include a sub form with a many to may relationship. I built table named ClassNameT and a join table named ClassNameXContactT and it has its ID as the primary key and Included is a foreign keys for ClassNameID and ContactID When I insert a sub form in the Contact table It appears to work assigning each class to a particular student but it places the reference in ClassNameT, Which should only contain the 8 classes and not in the join table. The control source is the join table. I am also building an estimating data base that includes a many to many skillset to employee and this one works fine I have tried to figure out what I did there but I am not getting it. I know when I constructed the one that works I relied on a instructional video but I can't recall which. Thank You in advance Tom Gardega

So...
Go take a look at the one that is working.  Use it as your guide. Watch the videos again above.
You will remember it better next time if you power through.  If you still get stuck come on back.

You are dropping the subform made up from the Junction table into the ContactF correct?
Is it a continuous form?
What are the Link Master Fields and Link Child Fields?  Do they match correctly?

Really consider adding on at least the Silver TechHelp Memberhip to your account.  There i almost exactly the scenario you are speaking of in the Extended Cut for members in the Many-to-Many
If you are a Gold Member you can also download Richard's sample db.  See: TechHelp Memberships for more info.

Thomas I'm not aware of any other method unless Richard has something set up through his billing system.

Just the thought is enough for me - I appreciate that you find it helpful!
