Handing in my homework

Just trying to apply what I've learned. Does this look right?

I've manually typed this using my own cheat sheet. This assumes:

CustomerID is a number
City is a Text / String Value (Yes, realistically City will be a combo with an ID ref, but in this case, we're assuming string)
OrderDateStart and OrderDateEnd is a date value (Note i've converted the regional value to american)

Thanks

I tried to paste my code in here but noticed it removed all the double quotes and other stuff. what a pain. Will post screenshot instead (Yes, i enclosed in code brackets, not sure why it still removed them)

Don't use smart quotes
OrderT doesn't have an opening quote.

Need to reopen the quotes on the first AND

Your Ands need to be inside the quotes and some quotes are missing.
Remember you'll need Nz in case the value can't be fount to prevent an Invalid Use of Null error

Nz(DLookup("OrderID", "OrderT", "CustomerID=" & [Combo_CustomerID] & " And City=""" & [Combo_City] & """ And " & _
"OrderDateStart>=#" & Format([OrderStartDateField], "mm/dd/yyyy") & "# And " & _
"OrderDateEnd>=#" & Format([OrderEndDateField], "mm/dd/yyyy") & "#"),0)

Awesome, thank you. Think I'll make a database which will translate English into this. Will help with the learning and assist in the future too. Thanks again

R.e. Smart quotes. Yeah i know. Took it from Micro$oft Word for printing purposes. Will do something much better in a db

Ok, re-written broken down into sections! I'll print it and stare at it each day till it sinks in 🤣
