Make sure your Windows Defender is up to date.
I'm assuming that your database is in a trusted location - Correct?.  Are you working on a network?

I would use Shell or Shell Execute to open the file as opposed to FollowHyperlink.

Good point Kevin.

yeah, my database is in a trusted location, Dear Scott.
and I need to open the file location to copy the file to send to other workplace during my work, so FollowHyperlink is better i think, Dear Kevin

Alexis, Not trusted location but the built in antivirus Defender.  Even if you are not using it it does control some of the processes.
Go to settings, privacy and security

Hi Alexis, this is a known issue with Access that has been brought up here ( https://599cd.com/blog/display-article.asp?ID=352&CommentID=63254#StartOfComments ).

One workaround is to open files with the VBScript code shown in the picture below, which doesn't show a warning, but the file path needs to be written in full URL format with the "File:///" prefix, and with spaces in the path replaced with %20.
