32 bit version

Hi Richard.  I work for a large, frugal organization that provides 64 bit computers and OS, but 32 bit versions of Access.  I'm unable to open your version as it was created in a 64 bit version of Access.  Is there a way I could get a 32 bit version?

Is your organization not willing to let you use 64 bit access? It's going to cause a lot of headaches as you go.

64-Bit Access

I'm sure they will at some point.  I like to say we're on the bleeding back edge of technology.  Because of the size of the organization and the type of work we do, they're much more focused on MS Word than anything else.  My working with Access is a one-off that likely won't move the needle.  I've asked about getting a copy, but I'm not optimistic.

When I bought Office 365, I got both the 32- and 64-bit versions, and I could choose which to install during installation.  Didn't you get the same?

Richard has said he won't make 32-bit versions of his templates ever again, but you can import them into 32-bit databases yourself:

32 Bit Sample Databases

Thanks Kevin.  The computers at work come with Office pre-installed, and they're locked down tighter than a drum.  I have a 64 bit version at home.  I think I'll download the form there and copy the VBA and paste it into the 32 bit version at work.  It's not efficient, but it's a workaround for now.

Thanks for your help.
